RSO - UMass BioMakers

The UMass BioMakers, or UMBM, are dedicated to fostering an innovative and collaborative ecosystem for the exploration of biological sciences and biotechnology. Our mission is anchored in the belief that the intersection of diverse disciplines—biology, engineering, technology, and entrepreneurship. This, in turn, can lead to groundbreaking discoveries and solutions to complex problems. To this end, we commit to (1) providing a workplace where student researchers can explore and experiment with biological concepts, (2) conducting workshops, seminars, and mentorship programs, and (3) engaging with local communities through outreach initiatives.
