RSO - Make-A-Wish Club

The Make-A-Wish Club at the University of Massachusetts Amherst plans to follow the same mission statement as Wishmakers on Campus. It states: “Wishmakers On Campus® empowers the collegiate community in Massachusetts and Rhode Island to help fund life-changing wishes for local children facing critical illnesses. By planning fundraisers, hosting events, and raising donations for Make-A-Wish Massachusetts and Rhode Island, the club will provide support, hope, and joy to local children with critical illnesses when they need it most.” (Make-A-Wish) As a club, we will host a handful of events throughout the semester which will not only help raise funds for Make-A-Wish but also an end-of-semester event. The philosophy of Make-A-Wish as a whole is that “Together, we create life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses.” (Make-A-Wish) The Make-A-Wish club at the University of Massachusetts Amherst obtains this same philosophy.
