Slamherst is the first and only competitive poetry slam team at UMass Amherst, specializing in showcasing high quality performances on campus, in the community, and across the New England region. The team aims to nurture a culture of rising poets and storytellers whose mission is to foster healing and community development. Our team values the mentorship and growth of competitive poets on the campus of UMass Amherst and beyond.
