RSO - United Nations Association (UNA)

Our mission is to promote international awareness and global citizenship through advocacy, education, civic engagement, and alignment with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). We strive to build a diverse and inclusive community of future leaders dedicated to multilateral cooperation, sustainability, and human rights.

To fulfill this mission, UNA UMass will engage in activities such as:

• Hosting workshops, debates, and solution-pitch/case competitions to address the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) or crisis situations.
• We will also undertake projects such as community outreach initiatives, volunteer service, creative activities, and research efforts that promote advocacy and awareness around global issues.
• Finally, we will be officially recognized on an international level by the United Nations Association of USA. We will organize events such as speaker series with UN officials, cultural performances, annual conferences and participate in international conferences to connect students with global leaders and each other.
